Being Undone by Life

One of my friends, who is struggling desperately in her marriage, was heavily on my mind yesterday morning. She hates the cynicism, the loneliness, and the ugliness she feels inside.  But, she also feels too stuck to do anything about it - and almost doesn't even care anymore.

Prayer for Hope in the Midst of Emotional Despair

One of my friends, who is struggling desperately in her marriage, was heavily on my mind yesterday morning. She had mentioned being to the point where she’s bitter even of what is going on inside her—not just the anger toward her husband, but her anger and despair toward God for not protecting her from this, or at least not rescuing her or bringing breakthrough reconciliation into her marriage. She hates the cynicism, the loneliness, and the ugliness she feels inside. But, she also feels too stuck to do anything about it—and almost doesn’t even care anymore.

Understanding the Depth of Despair in Troubled Relationships

This isn’t my only friend in that same type of emotional, spiritual place. I can name many who are broken, frustrated, hopeless, exhausted, and angry. And alone. It seems epidemic to be so confused about what is happening in their relationships, and why every day feels heavier.  The light of life barely flickering in their souls.

A Prayer for Hope and Transformation

I wrote these words to her yesterday, hoping to speak life over her and her family: May you lean hard into God today with your whole heart, even struggling to trust him. May you dump every thought, every emotion, every dream, and every loss at the foot of the cross and let it stay there. Let YOU stay there. With Him. May you go through your day with grace—His grace that both carries you, and enables you to be grace to those around you. May you let Him hold your heart…

Extending a Prayer for Hope to You

I pray these same words over you and your family. While I have no power to change what’s going on with you, this is my way of dumping my cares at the foot of the cross, too. God’s grace is the only thing big enough to change anything. And He is inviting us to choose to step into a journey of transformation.

Next Steps

In times of deep despair and hopelessness, it can be challenging to see a way forward. But through prayer for hope, we can find the strength to continue and the grace to embrace the journey of transformation that God offers. Leaning into His love and trusting His plan, even when it’s difficult, can bring about profound change in our hearts and lives. We would love to help you find the footing to step into a healing journey and rejuvenate your soul.  Reach out to us today to schedule a session with one of our expert coaches.
