I have worked with many people who didn’t really want to look at where they’d parked. And it was a good indication of how successful our sessions were not going to be. On the other hand, I’ve never heard anyone ever say they regretted evaluating where they were.
All of my own naivete, foolishness and nonsense remind me what an incredible gift God’s mercy is to have allowed me the room to grow, change, and mature.

Living lost means going from one urgent moment to the next without a purpose other than to get through that moment. It is the aimless complacency of making it through the day, just to start all over again the next with no real direction. Along the way, any relationships built tend to be shallow and unfulfilling as you work hard to hide how lost you are living.
